1Minimum balance requirements: 2.00% Annual Percentage Yield (APY) paid on balances between one penny to $25,000 each monthly qualification cycle the minimum requirements are met. An interest rate of 0.05% will be paid only for that portion of your average daily balance that is greater than $25,000. The annual percentage yield for this tier will range from 2.00% to .05%, depending on the balance in the account. If you do not meet the requirements per qualification cycle, your account will still function as a no monthly service charge checking account earning 0.05% APY; however, you will not receive ATM refunds for that time period. "Monthly Qualification Cycle" is defined as the period beginning on the first day of a month through the last day of the same month. Rates as of September 1, 2017. We may change the interest rate and APY at any time after the account is opened. No Minimum Balance Required. However, you must deposit a minimum of $5 to open this account. Available to Personal Accounts only. No monthly service charge. Fees may reduce earnings.
Checking accounts with Overdraft Protection will be charged a fee for overdrafts created by share drafts, in-person withdrawals, pre-authorized withdrawals, or other electronic means. Regardless of account type when items are presented for payment in excess of the balance in your account, an insufficient or overdraft item charge will be assessed each time the item is presented whether the item is paid or returned. This includes but is not limited to debit card transactions, such as ATM withdrawals, that are in excess of the balance in your account which may incur an overdraft item charge if the transaction is paid. Nationwide ATM Refunds
2Nationwide ATM refunds if requirements are met. ATM refunds limited to a maximum of $25 per qualification cycle. ATM fees will be reimbursed up to a maximum of $4.50 per individual transaction. Qualifying transactions must post and settle to your account during the monthly qualification cycle. Transactions may take one or more business days from the transaction date to post an account from the date transaction is made. Intra-bank transfers do not count as qualifying ACH transactions. "Monthly Qualification Cycle" is defined as the period beginning on the first day of a month through the last day of the same month.
Qualifications to Earn Premium Interest and ATM Refunds
